Robot walks across chasm on a tightrope

Tired of seeing human beings walking across huge chasms on a tightrope?

This is a robot, created by Masahiko Yamaguchi, which can walk a tiny gap on a tight rope.  Building a robot that can move like a person is an obstacle that many engineers often have to overcome.  Albeit, Yamaguchi’s bot is tiny in comparison to the humanoid-sized ones that are out there, it’s still quite impressive to see the little thing balance its way across the foot-sized gap.

The music selection for the intense robotic stunt act isn’t bad either.  Enjoy!
