Review: Crysis 3 (PC)

Crysis 3 is here! We all know it looks good, but how does it play? Can Crytek deliver a game that is both beautiful and engaging, or are we going to be shedding a few tears?

Crysis 3 is the sequel to Crysis 2. That just about sums it up. It does everything right that Crysis 2 did right, and everything wrong that Crysis 2 did wrong. It’s beautiful, like its predecessor, and a GPU killer, just like its predecessor. The game has a ridiculously crafted plot and multifaceted, engaging gameplay. Minor changes here and there represent refinements to the gameplay since last time, but ultimately, you’re looking at the same deal: Flawed but brilliant.
