Production of revamped Apple iPad to ramp up in Q1 2011

Apple iPad

According to some component suppliers, the production for the new revamped Apple iPad will be increased early next year. And it seems like the iPad 2 (as most called it) may come with front and rear camera for taking pictures and videos, as well as for video conferencing.

Wintek Corp who specializes in touchscreen chips, Simplo Technology, battery manufacturer as well as AVY Precision, an unlisted maker for products covers, are some of the suppliers involved in the production of the next batch of iPads. According to them, production is ramping up in the first quarter of 2011, which is just three weeks away. And that the new revamped iPad would come with both front and rear camera. The new iPad could be announced at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next year.

Needless to say, 2011 will be a year whereby we will see more tablet products from various manufacturers.
