Philips launches 275C5QHGSW AH-IPS monitor with AmbiGlow Plus

Philips has launched a new 27-inch monitor with its unique AmbiGlow Plus technology.

The Philips 275C5QHGSW comes with an Ambiglow Plus base that offers an immersive lighting experience. Ambiglow technology basically works similar to Ambilight on Philips TVs and creates a halo of light on and around the monitor’s base. The monitor’s processor analyzes the image being displayed on the screen and adapts the color and brightness of the lighting to match the image. To further enhance the visual experience, the monitor features edge-to-edge glass and narrow bezels.

The monitor features a 27-inch AH-IPS panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution and delivers maximum brightness of 250 nits, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 14 ms response time, 178/178 degree viewing angles, flicker-free backlight, and sRGB color gamut coverage. I/O options include VGA, HDMI, and MHL-HDMI.

It is expected to be available soon and could be priced around the $350 mark.
