Philips 276E6ADS is the world’s first Quantum Dot monitor, coming soon to Europe

Philips

Philips has announced that it will soon be bringing the 276E6ADS quantum dot monitor to the European market.

The 276E6ADS was revealed earlier this year and is the world’s first monitor to be equipped with Color IQ technology from QD Vision. The monitor covers 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and is being showcased by Philips at its booth at IFA 2015.

For all the pro photographers and videographers out there, the Philips 276E6ADS is definitely going to be an enticing option. Most other premium monitors in the market are only capable of representing around 95% of the Adobe RGB standard. Thanks to the Color IQ solution, Philips is able to deliver the 99% Adobe RGB coverage for a lower cost.

The E6 monitor will be arriving in Europe by October this year. No details on pricing have been revealed yet.
