Palm-sized Asus ZenBeam E1 projector launched in Singapore

Asus Singapore today announced the launch of its palm-sized ZenBeam E1 projector. The pico projector is capable of projecting TV-sized images up to 120 inches diagonally. With a HDMI / MHL port, the ZenBeam E1 is compatible with devices such as PCs, smart devices, gaming consoles, and media streamers.

The ZenBeam E1 measures 110 x 83 x 29mm and weighs in at just 307 grams, making it easily portable. Its understated Zen-inspired design with an aluminum-alloy unibody chassis has wont it a 2016 iF Design Award as well as a 2016 Red Dot Design Award.

Asus ZenBeam E1 features a 150-lumen Eco-LED light source that has a 30,000-hour lifespan. In terms of specs, the ZenBeam E1 offers a native WVGA 854 x 480 resolution and can play 1080p Full HD video files. It also boasts 100% NTSC color gamut coverage, DLP IntelliBright technology to boost brightness and contrast, and a 1.4:1 short-throw ratio lens capable of projecting images measuring 15in to 120in diagonally. In terms of audio, the ZenBeam E1 comes with an ASUS SonicMaster –enhanced speaker.

In addition to being a pico projector, the ZenBeam E1 can function as a portable power bank as well, thanks a built-in rechargeable 6000mAh capacity battery that also provides up to five hours of cable-free projection time.

The Asus ZenBeam E1 is now available in Singapore for $539 SGD.
