Selfie lovers, rejoice! OPPO will be unveiling the stunning R9 Plus during the PC Show 2016 held at the Singapore Expo come 2nd June.
The R9 Plus features all of its predecessor’s functions, including an improved 16 MP front-facing camera built to capture the perfect selfie. The device is also equipped with OPPO’s new Hi-light Camera, which captures optimal light to ensure bright and clear selfies. In addition, the new Selfie Panorama feature enables you to take group snapshots with ease.
For maximum photo capturing capabilities, its rear-facing camera is also given an upgrade to 16MP with an improved aperture size of f/2.0, which will capture better pictures under low-light conditions.
The R9 Plus features a sleek metallic chassis in gorgeous Gold and Rose Gold tones. It is augmented by a 6-inch AMOLED display and an ultra-slim 1.76 mm bezel for superior viewing experience and feel.
Weighing a modest 185g, the device measures at 163.1 x 80.78 x 7.4mm, runs on Quadcore Snapdragon 652, 1.8GHz and comes with 4GB of RAM. Users can choose between two storage options, 64GB or 128GB.
The R9 Plus is also equipped with a battery of increased capacity at 4,120 mAh, allowing active users to snap, surf and watch their favourite shows on-the-go without worry.
Retaining its predecessor’s VOOC Flash Charge technology, the R9 Plus grants a 70% charge after just 30 minutes of flash charging. To top it all off, users can unlock the R9 Plus in a mere 0.2 seconds thanks to the device’s front-facing fingerprint recognition.
The R9 Plus in Gold and Rose Gold will be launched at the PC Show 2016 from 2 to 5 June held at the Singapore EXPO Hall 5 and 6 for $769 (64GB) and $849 (128GB), and will also be available at all OPPO concept stores and all M1, Singtel and StarHub stores.
