According to a report from TechDroid, the Oppo F1s is going to be priced at Rs.17,999 in India. Pre-orders for the smartphone will remain open from August 4th till August 10th.
The smartphone apparently comes with a 5.5-inch 720 x 1280 HD resolution display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top. It will be powered by the MediaTek MT6750 octa-core chipset, clocked at 1.5GHz. In terms of memory, the F1s will include 3GB of RAM and come with 32GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded by up to 128GB thanks to the included microSD card slot. The selfie camera, as revealed earlier, will be a 16MP unit. The primary camera will be a 13MP unit, with an LED flash.
Other key specs that have been revealed include a 3075mAh capacity battery, a “Flash” fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM support, 4G LTE with VoLTE, and USB OTG support. For some weird reason, Oppo will be launching the handset with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and not Android 6.0 Marshmallow. We do hope that the company will release an update to Android 6.0 at some point in the future, but we are not very optimistic seeing Oppo’s past track record.
