Looks like the next OnePlus smartphone may not be called the OnePlus X after all.
The next OnePlus smartphone has accidentally been listed on the Amazon India website, suggesting that the final marketing name of the device will be OnePlus Mini and not OnePlus X. The device is listed to feature a 5-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and ClearForce technology. Under the hood, the OnePlus Mini could be equipped with a MediaTek MT6795 chipset and 2GB of RAM.
With a focus on design, the OnePlus Mini will feature a metal frame around the body with Side Touch functionality. Other leaked specs include a 2450mAh Li-Po battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with OxygenOS 3.0.
Since the smartphone has now been certified by agencies such as the FCC and TENAA, we expect it to go official very soon.
