OnePlus continues to build hype for the announcement of its next flagship smartphone later this month. The company today revealed that the OnePlus 2 will be equipped with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
So far the company has revealed quite a few major features of the flagship smartphone such as the Snapdragon 810 SoC, USB Type-C port, fingerprint sensor, and a sub $450 price-tag. Today’s info is quite impressive too, making the OnePlus 2 superior to most major Android flagship smartphones out right now as far as the RAM goes.
Most of the popular 2015 Android flagship smartphones only feature 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, some devices such as the LG G4 even feature 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Since the new LPDDR4 tech brings greater performance and higher efficiency compared to LPDDR3, you can expect the OnePlus 2 to handle multitasking with utmost ease. Of course, that extra 1GB of RAM should count too.
The OnePlus 2 will be announced on 27th of this month in a VR announcement.
