According to a fresh new report from HardwareBattle, NVIDIA will be launching at least three new SKUs in June, based on the new 16nm GP104 silicon.
The publication has also revealed the ASIC markings for the three SKUs – “GP104-400-A1”, “GP104-200-A1” and “GP104-150-A1”. Going by the ASIC markings on the Maxwell lineup, it appears the “GP104-400-A1” will be the successor to the GeForce GTX 980, while the “GP104-200-A1” will be the successor to the highly popular GeForce GTX 970.
The “GP104-150-A1” on the other hand remains a mystery. According to the report, the GeForce GTX 980 and GeForce GTX 970 successors could be launched by early June while the “GP104-150-A1” will arrive a little later by mid-June.
As we reported recently, NVIDIA could introduce the consumer “Pascal” lineup at Computex 2016 in Taipei next month.
