NVIDIA could soon launch a dual-GPU flagship Maxwell graphics card aimed at the enthusiast segment.
According to reports, the dual-GPU graphics card was shown off to a few members of the press recently at NVIDIA’s ‘secret’ meeting in New York City last week. Review samples of the dual GM200 graphics card are currently being distributed to reviewers, so it shouldn’t take quite long for the card to go official.
The GeForce GTX Titan X and the GTX 980 Ti are based on a single GM200 GPU, delivering more than enough performance to allow gamers to enjoy a smooth gaming experience even at 4K and higher resolutions.
NVIDIA’s upcoming dual-GPU Maxwell card will have to face some tough competition from rival AMD’s upcoming R9 Fury X2 dual-GPU Fiji XT. The AMD card is also expected to arrive soon, so most of you may find it quite difficult to choose between the dual-GPU flagship cards from NVIDIA and AMD.
