As we head closer to Computex, more details about NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 980 Ti card keep on appearing. After leaks about its specs, the first live images of the card have now been posted on the web by VideoCardz.
As had been previously rumored, the GTX 980 Ti shared the same PCB design as the more expensive GTX Titan X card. Instead of black on the Titan X, the GTX 980 Ti features a silver PCB which does look quite attractive. The card will not come with any backplates as it would ‘reportedly’ affect tri-SLI airflow.
VideoCardz has also confirmed that the card will indeed be launching next week, possibly at Computex 2015. Display connectors will be similar to the GTX Titan X – DVI, HDMI, and 3 DisplayPorts. It will two power connectors – 8pin + 6pin.
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti will feature a total 2,816 CUDA cores, 176 TMUs, and a 384-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface with 6GB of memory.
