NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 listed in E-tail

Canadian e-tailer EXPC has jumped the gun and listed NVIDIA's upcoming flagship, GeForce GTX 590. The card in question is a GTX 590 and comes with a straight "Buy Now" button and complete specifications and price. As expected, the GTX 590 combines two of massive GF110 GPUs on one package. All units are enabled and the GTX 590 is essentially GTX 580 SLI with severe downclocks. The final clock is 612 MHz for the core, 3420 MHz for the 3GB GDDR5. The card features 3x DVI outputs, 1xHDMI and even 1xMiniDP – finally bringing NVIDIA's 3D Surround to a single graphics card.

Needless to say, the GTX 590 is one massive card, 11" long and 4.5" thick. That makes it slightly shorter than the HD 6990, but slightly thicker, and right on the limit for dual-slot graphics card. While TDP is not mentioned, the GTX 590 is expected to consume 375W.

The price? CA$799. That is more than $100 more expensive than the HD 6990, setting up an intense fight between the two. Of course, the final pricing may vary.

The GTX 590 was originally scheduled for 22nd, but is now set to release on 24th. The reason cited has been last minute driver tweaks, especially for Crysis 2 which releases around the same time.
