Steam’s monthly hardware survey gives us a good look at the products that are used globally. The latest Hardware & Software Survey, conducted at the end of June, shows NVIDIA taking up 63.61% of the graphics card category, with ASMD coming in second with 20.5% and Intel’s integrated graphics coming in at third with 15.54%.
The GTX 1060 proved to be the most popular card, with a market share of 6.29%, an increase of 1.10% in the month of June alone. The card is followed by the GTX 750 Ti, and the GTX 960. The first AMD card on the list, the Radeon HD 7700, is 20th on the list. We’re yet to see the Radeon RX 400 or RX 500 series cards make their way into the list. It’ll be interesting to see what sort of difference Vega could make in this segment, but we’ll need to wait until the end of the year to find out.
In the processor segment, Intel understandably dominates with an 80.99% market share, but with Ryzen gaining around, AMD should see added momentum in next month’s numbers. As for operating systems, Windows 10 came in first with 50.33%.
