NVIDIA to bundle free VR indie games with GeForce GTX 1050 & GTX 1060 cards

Aiming to boost their visibility, NVIDIA has announced that it will be giving buyers of its GeForce GTX 1050, GTX 1050 Ti, and GTX 1060 cards the option of choosing from three VR Indie games. Buyers of notebooks powered by the mobile versions of these GPUs are also going to be eligible for the ‘Choose Your Adventure’ bundle. The games on offer include Maize, Raw Data, and Redout.

Once you purchase an eligible graphics card or a notebook featuring an eligible card, you will need to visit the redemption portal and exchange the coupon code included in the invoice for a game key of your choice.

Finish Line Games’ Maize is a first-person adventure game about what happens when two scientists misinterpret a memo from the U.S. Government and create sentient corn. Players get to explore an abandoned farm and a not-so-abandoned underground research facility as they solve puzzles and uncover the mysteries around Maize.

Redout, from 34BigThings succeeds the classic arcade racing games such as F-Zero, Rollcage, and WipeOut. It promises an uncompromisingly fast, tough and satisfying driving experience, with a physical-led driving and physic model that rewards skill with even faster speeds. The game can be played on or offline, as well as in all the latest Virtual Reality headsets.

Raw Data, from Survios, is claimed to be one of the most immersive and exciting virtual reality games available. However, you should keep in mind that you will need at least a GeForce GTX 1060 to enjoy the game if you own a VR headset from HTC. The game lets you take control of unique characters with special powers, weapons, and swords, and attempt to survive against waves enemies on your own, or play online with other players.
