Nintendo 3DS XL now available in Mint White flavor

Starting April 18, 2013, new Nintendo 3DS XL units will be optionally available in its Mint White color version, plus one more bonus package for a certain popular 3DS sim game in Japan…

Ever thought that the recent new color designs for regular Nintendo 3DS units were unfair for potential 3DS XL owners? Yeah, we did thought so too. But we need not worry anymore, because Nintendo actually has all the color themes evened out for both versions. Starting April 18, 2013, new Nintendo 3DS XL units would now be optionally available in the new Mint White version.

As an added bonus to the new 3DS XL color version, Nintendo also plans to provide another separate Mint White package that is pre-installed with the latest Tomodachi Collection Shinseikatsu (new life) game, perhaps in celebration to what is considered as the most popular 3DS sim game in Japan. Instead of being purely mint-white however, the alternate Mint White 3DS XL package will be available in a base white design that is filled with mint white-colored thought balloons, as shown here.

With the addition of the new upcoming Mint White color version, there are now a total of 7 different color versions for the Nintendo 3DS XL.

The standard Mint White Nintendo 3DS XL and the Tomodachi Collection Pack/Bundle version will be available in Japan for 18,900 yen (197 USD) and 22,800 yen (237 USD) respectively.
