Nexus 5 shows up on Google’s Play Store

Some users were able to see the Nexus 5 listed in the Play Store for $349.

After the leaked press images, we now have images of the Nexus 5 direct from Google’s images servers. Users browsing the Play Store were able to see the listing for the Nexus 5, which was available starting at $349. There have been conflicting rumors over the last few weeks as to how much the device would cost, and now it looks like it will retain the pricing of the Nexus 4, which was $349 for the 16 GB model.

The Play Store link is defunct now, and considering that the page listed the pricing as starting at $349, we will likely see two variations of the device, one with 16 GB ROM, the other with 32 GB. All signs point to an official unveil on October 30. The Nexus 5 will feature high-end hardware, which was confirmed by the leaked service manual. The Nexus 5 will be the first device to come with Android 4.4 KitKat.
