New trailer for South Park: The Stick of Truth released by South Park Studios

A brand new trailer shows hilarious in-game footage of the upcoming South Park: A Stick of Truth RPG, coming to consoles in March of next year.

Ever since it was announced at E3, gamers and fans of the hilarious and sometimes controversial television show South Park have been awaiting and anticipating any news or updates concerning The Stick of Truth.

South Park Studios has recently released a brand new trailer for the upcoming parody-infused RPG, showing actual in-game footage that chronicles the basic storyline as well as a few combat scenes.

The Stick of Truth centers around an imaginary medieval adventure conjured up by the loveable scamps of South Park who use their youthful imagination to bring quite an immersive–and outrageously funny–RPG experience.

The game is being developed by Obsidian Games, who are no strangers to RPG's: they've developed such games as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Fallout New Vegas just to name a few.

With THQ handling the publishing of the game, The Stick of Truth seems to be in more than capable hands.

The upcoming RPG features authentic cartoonish graphics that adequately portray the characters as they are represented in the show, giving that distinct South Park-look to every scene, making the game actually look and feel like a huge episode that players can interact with.

This makes for a quite rewarding and enjoyable experience for any fan of the show.

South Park: The Stick of Truth will release on March 5, 2013 in North America for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. For more information please visit the game's official website.
