New screenshots leaked for Watch_Dogs

A batch of new screenshots has been leaked for Ubisoft's upcoming open-world title Watch_Dogs, giving players even more glimpses of the game's impressive visuals. A brand new gameplay trailer has also been released along with the screens, showcasing in-game footage for Ubisoft's techno-stealth release.

A few new screenshots from Ubisoft's upcoming open-world techno-stealth game Watch_Dogs have been leaked onto the internet, adding to the myriad of available snapshots for the highly anticipated multi-platform release.

Aiden uses technology to scout and thwart crime, often infiltrating private data of everyday citizens to do so.

The screenshots depict various scenes and feature the game's anti-hero protagonist Aiden Pearce, whose impeccable hacking skills allow him to control virtually any device and spy on anyone and everyone nearby. The new pictures display everything from Aiden scouting the identity of passersby to our tech-savvy protagonist fleeing from the police on a street bike or hacking nearby street lights and smartphones to his advantage.

Aiden hacks the streetlights to create traffic accidents to distract the local police, affording him extra time to make a getaway or take justice in his own hands.

Watch_Dogs will incorporate many unique gameplay elements and have a traditional open-world feel, allowing gamers to explore a city that's rife with people and advanced technology, offering a significantly original gaming experience that looks to be one of the major releases of the year.

The game's impressive graphics and incredible detail are showcased in many of the screenshots, showing a visually enticing alternate reality crafted by Ubisoft.

The game's story arc revolves around the ideals of information warfare, where information in itself has become a weapon, and utilizes central themes including the world being interconnected via technology.

The game takes place in an alternate reality version of Chicago, one of the cities featuring a highly advanced supercomputer known as CtOS (Central Operating System). CtOS processes and stores an incredible volume of data that contains information everything from the city's residents to live camera footage and vital info that can be tapped and utilized at will.

Aiden uses his wits, technology, and firearms to thwart crime, making him a sort of vigilante who fights for justice and freedom.

Aiden Pearce, the game's protagonist, fights against the high-tech world that threatens to overwhelm and catalogue every citizen, using the power of technology to fight the system and Big Brother-esque government that created CtOS. Pearce's journey culminates in a struggle for freedom from the interconnected world, yet he is dependant upon that same system in order to stop it.

Aiden can't do everything on his own, and often depends on others to help him in his dangerous struggle.

Watch_Dogs is slated for a release on Nov. 19, 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PC and is currently confirmed for PS4. For more information please visit the game's official website.
