Key specs of three upcoming BlackBerry Android smartphones codenamed Neon, Argon, and Mercury have been detailed in a new report from Venture Beat.
The ‘Neon’ is said to be arriving in the July to August timeframe and will be a mid-range full touchscreen handset aimed at both the enterprise and consumer market. It is expected to feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 617 octa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, 13MP primary camera, 8MP selfie camera, and a 2610mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0.
The ‘Argon’ is going to be more of a successor to the Priv, with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset under the hood. It will also offer 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal memory, 21MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C connector, and a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 standard.
The ‘Mercury’ is set to debut only Q1 2017 but will be the only handset out of the three to feature a physical QWERTY keyboard. It is tipped to feature a 4.5-inch 1080p display with 3:2 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, 18MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3400mAh battery.
