A new image of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from accessory manufacturer Olixar suggests the upcoming phablet could be the first Samsung flagship to sport a USB Type-C port.
While the renders leaked by Evan Blass showed off the front and back of the Galaxy Note 7, we did not get to take a look at the bottom. The render from Oiixar on the other hand includes a clear view of the bottom. As you can see, the bottom houses a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, single loudspeaker, and S-Pen slot.
It is now all but confirmed that the Galaxy Note 7 will be announced at a Galaxy unpacked event on August 2 at New York City. Confirmed specs include a 5.7” dual-curved edge Super AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable internal memory, 12MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, IP68 water resistance, and an iris scanner.
