NETGEAR today launched its new X4S AC2600 Smart Wi-Fi router (R7800). It delivers extremely fast Wi-Fi connections to any device and is ideal for enthusiast gamers looking at a reliable new router.

The X4S AC2600 succeeds the X4 AC2350 Smart Wi-Fi router (R7500) launched by NETGEAR in 2014. It boasts of Wave 2 Wi-Fi features like quad-stream architecture for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO), and 160MHz bandwidth. The router features a 1.7GHz dual-core processor to deliver up to 2.53Gbps (up to 1733Mbps on the 5GHz band + 800Mbps on 2.4GHz band), quad-stream architecture with new Wave 2 Wi-Fi for improved Wi-Fi range, MU-MIMO technology, 80+80/160MHz support for upcoming mobile devices, 4 high performance external antennas with powerful amplifiers combined with Beamforming+ for maximum coverage and reliability, 5 Ethernet ports (4 LAN + 1 WAN), 2 USB 3.0 ports, and 1 eSATA port.

The Nighthawk X4S AC2600 smart Wi-Fi router is now available in the US from all major retailers at an MSRP of $269.99.
