Need for Speed PC reboot release delayed to spring 2016

NeedforSpeed

While the console version of Need for Speed is well on track for a November 3rd release in North America, the PC version of the game has now been delayed to spring 2016.

Developer of the game, Ghost Games today revealed in a blog post that the PC version of the game will be delayed to spring 2016 in order to achieve an unlocked frame rate. The delay will give the developers more time to increase the visuals to deliver the best possible experience to PC gamers. Ghost Games will also include content updates that will be released to the console versions of the game up to spring 2016.

The game will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on November 3rd in North America and November 5th worldwide.

The developer also announced that it will begin a closed beta on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the coming weeks to gauge their server infrastructure ahead of the game’s release later this year.
