‘NBA Live 14’ launching November 19 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

EA announced via Twitter today that NBA Live 14 will make its way onto the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 19th. The game will be the first NBA title released by EA in four years.

NBA Live 14 will feature Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving on the cover, and comes with a new Ignite game engine. The new game engine has been tailor-made for sports games, and performs four times as many calculations a second as EA’s current offering. The engine also allows for ever-changing crowds as well as dynamic sidelines. The engine also features True Player Motion, which the publisher claims can mimic the movements of actual athletes.

This is EA’s first NBA game in four years, after NBA Live 13 and NBA Elite 11 were cancelled. NBA Live 14 will be available for both next-gen consoles from November 19th.
