MSI Z270 MPOWER Gaming Titanium motherboard launched

MSI’s enthusiast-grade Z270 MPOWER Gaming Titanium motherboard is now available.

The motherboard is based on the critically acclaimed TITANIUM concept, which was first introduced by MSI in 2015. It comes with a silver metallic color PCB design, heavy plated heatsinks and covers. The Titanium backplate gives the board added strength, while matching the titanium look and feel elsewhere.

Being based on the Intel Z270 Express chipset, the MSI Z270 MPOWER Gaming Titanium supports NVMe SSDs as well as the Intel Optane Memory technology for ultra-fast performance. Gamers will be able to enable RAID 0 easily via the M.2 Genie function inside the BIOS, which will allow them to unlock even higher storage performance.

In the audio department, the motherboard uses premium quality audio components and in isolated audio PCB. MSI’s Audio Boost 4 PRO tech includes 2x dedicated HD audio processors with dedicated amplifiers, allowing gamers to use headphones and speakers at the same time.

In the connectivity department, the motherboard supports the latest USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, with transfer speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. You also get 20-pins front USB Gen 2 Type-C, for which you will require a case with front USB 3.1 Type-C ports.

Rest of the key highlights include VR Boost, DDR4 Boost, Game Boost, Triple Turbo M.2, and U.2 support.
