After Palit, Gainward, and Inno3D, MSI has now announced its new GTX 980 Ti graphics card. Dubbed the GTX 980 Ti V1, the card features an attractive design that sets it apart from the reference design.
The GeForce GTX 980 Ti card features 2,816 Maxwell CUDA cores, 176 TMUs, 96 ROPs, and 6GB of GDDR5 memory. But unlike the other recent GTX 980 Ti cards that we have seen, this one doesn’t come factory overclocked. MSI has decided to stick with the stock 1000 MHz core clock and 1076 MHz GPU boost clock. Memory remains untouched as well, with a standard 7.0 GHz memory clock.
The only major changes with the new card are the different blower and cooler shroud. Most of the other components are very similar to the reference design from NVIDIA, including the heatsink under the shroud.
MSI’s new GeForce GTX 980 Ti V1 graphics card will be available soon in the US market for $649.99.
