MSI today announced the launch of the Aegis Ti, the company’s latest high-end gaming desktop with the latest unlocked Intel Core-K series processor and NVIDIA Pascal graphics.
The Aegis Ti is powered by the Intel Core i7-6700K processor and uses an Intel Z170 motherboard. As for graphics, you can configure it with up to two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 cards in a 2-way SLI configuration for extreme performance, even in VR. The desktop features a total of four SO-DIMM slots, for up to 64GB 2400MHz memory. For super quick game load times, the Aegis Ti comes with Super RAID 4 to achieve up to 32Gb/s using M.2 Gen3 x4.
The Silent Storm Cooling 3 comprises of three separate air flow streams that take care of the cooling of individual components inside the Aegis, ensuring cool and silent operation at all times. On the connectivity front, the latest MSI gaming desktop offers Killer Double Shot Pro (Killer LAN E2400 + Killer Wi-Fi 1435AC), Bluetooth 4.1, and USB 3.1 Type-A/Type-C ports on the front as well as the back I/O panel.
Of course, no high-end gaming desktop is complete without RGB LED illumination. The Aegis Ti comes with Mystic Light RGB in the front of the case, with numerous color options and modes such as breathe, gradient, gaming, and music.
