MSI’s GS40 Phantom, the world’s thinnest and lightest gaming laptop, is now available.
The GS40 weighs in at just 3.5 lbs and is less than 0.86-inches thick. Despite its impressive dimensions, the GS40 doesn’t compromise on performance. It is equipped with a 14” 1080p Non Reflective display, 6th Gen Intel Core i7 6700HQ processor, NVIDIA GTX 970M graphics, 16GB DDR4 memory, Super Port, and supports the latest PCI-E Gen3 SSDs. Key features on offer include a SABRE Hi-Fi Audio DAC for High-Res Audio support, Nahimic Audio Enhancer, MSI True Color technology, and Killer Double Shot to kill lag during gaming.
The MSI GS40 Phantom can now be ordered directly through MSI and other retailers. Prices start at $1,599.
MSI also announced that it will soon start selling the update GT80 gaming laptop with Intel Skylake processor and dual NVIDIA GTX 980 GPUs in SLI. It will also be the first laptop with an integrated mechanical keyboard utilizing Cherry Brown MX switches.
