A new tweet from @evleaks states that Verizon will get the Moto Maker customization suite on November 11.
Currently, the Moto Maker customization utility is exclusive to AT&T. A new tweet from @evleaks mentions that Verizon will also be getting access to the customization suite from November 11th.
For now, Verizon is selling black and white color variants of the device. Through Moto Maker, users can customize the Moto X’s back, front and accent colors, along with internal storage and color of accessories. Motorola is able to offer these customizations only in the U.S. as of now, as the device is assembled at its facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Motorola claimed last month that it was churning out 100,000 Moto X devices from this facility on a weekly basis.
The Moto X is available on all four major carriers in the U.S., and while there is no word on when the other carriers will get access to Moto Maker, it should not be too long.
