Moto G no longer Flipkart-exclusive in India

Moto G

At long last, consumers in India can finally buy Moto G line of smartphones from Amazon India. So far, the Moto G line has been exclusively sold by Flipkart in the country.

Amazon India was earlier selling only the Moto E and Moto 360 wearables in India. It will soon begin selling both the regular Moto G (3rd Gen) as well as the more recent Moto G Turbo Edition. Unsurprisingly, the pricing for both the smartphones is identical to what Flipkart is charging. The Moto G (3rd Gen) 8GB variant will be sold for Rs.9999, while the 16GB variant will be up for grabs for Rs.10,999. The recently launched Moto G Turbo Edition will carry a Rs.12,499 price tag.

Now that Amazon India will also start selling the Moto G smartphones, the Lenovo-owned company can hope to see a slight increase in market share in the Indian market.
