MIUI 8 to debut along with the Mi Max on May 10

Xiaomi today confirmed that the next big update to its custom OS will arrive alongside the Mi Max and Mi Band 2 on May 10.

Xiaomi CEO had shown off the Mi Band 2 on Sunday, while confirming that the company’s biggest smartphone yet will be made official on May 10. Xiaomi also shared that MIUI has grown significantly over the years and is now the operating system for over 150 million users across the globe. MIUI 8 will apparently introduce a new design and “features you always wanted”.

The Mi Max, as we have told you in our previous reports, will be a 6.4-inch phablet with a design that is very similar to the company’s current flagship smartphone, the Mi 5.
