Microsoft’s upcoming Surface Pro 4 tablet could arrive with a ‘bezel-less’ smart frame

A new rumor courtesy of Arabic website W4pHub claims Microsoft’s upcoming Surface Pro 4 tablet will come with an almost bezel-less Smart Frame design.

The bezels may actually be similar to what we have seen on the Dell XPS 13 laptop with ‘Infinity Display’. The report claims the top and side bezels surrounding the display will almost be invisible, only the bottom bezel will be slightly thick. The Windows key may also be removed or moved down to the bottom bezel.

What’s a bit confusing is the mention of a ‘Smart Frame’. This will apparently allow the Surface Pro 4 display to shrink down to 12 inches from 13 inches when using the device in tablet mode. Sounds interesting no doubt, but we’re not too optimistic about the feature actually being present on the final model.

The Surface Pro 4 tablet could be unveiled next week at Microsoft’s mega event.
