According to new rumors out of China, the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will include an Intel Skylake processor, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB of storage.
In addition to the current 128, 256, and 512GB storage options, the Surface Pro 4 will also be offered with an impressive 1TB option. The solid state drives in the higher end variants will allegedly be from Samsung.
The report also talks of a new 14-inch version in addition to the standard 12-inch model. Rumors of a larger display aren’t new, as quite a few other sources have suggested in the past that Microsoft could launch the Surface Pro 4 in two different screen sizes.
Both variants of the Surface Pro 4 are also rumored to include a USB Type-C port and a larger battery size compared to the Surface Pro 3. The report claims Microsoft is going to announce the Surface Pro 4 alongside the Lumia 950 next month. This does contradict a recent report which suggests Microsoft is going to unveil the Surface Pro 4 and new Lumia smartphones in October.
