Microsoft reiterates Windows 10 Mobile commitment, multiple new devices incoming

Windows 10 Mobile

Even though the Windows 10 Mobile platform hasn’t done much for Microsoft and the platform’s global market share continues to go down, Microsoft has reiterated that it remains committed to the platform and will continue to release new devices in the future.

Microsoft Windows and Devices Group executive vice president Terry Myerson sent out an email to company executives and partners, assuring them that the Windows 10 Mobile platform will continue to be supported “for many years”.

In the email, the executive mentions that Microsoft is currently developing its next generation products and that it, along with its OEM partners, will expand the lineup of phones running on the Windows 10 Mobile platform.

Microsoft is rumored to launch the “Surface Phone” next year, which is being described as a “breakthrough device” by CMO Chris Capossella.
