Microsoft Lumia ‘Saana’ render leaks again, could be announced at CES 2016

A new render of Microsoft’s upcoming Lumia smartphone codenamed ‘Saana’ has been published by WMPoweruser.

The new render shows the back of the device, which actually looks quite clean and has no striking design element. That isn’t really a bad thing though, and is something that is expected on an entry-level smartphone. Strangely, the ‘Saana’ doesn’t seem to have a speaker cutout at the back like other Lumia smartphones, suggesting that the smartphone could feature a front-facing speaker.

It is also being speculated that the smartphone could be made official at CES 2016 as the render shows the date of Monday the 4th. The next Monday the 4th falls in January 2016, two days before CES 2016 exhibition kicks off.

Expected to be the Lumia 650, the smartphone is rumored to feature a 5” 720p resolution display, Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 chipset, and a 2,000mAh capacity battery.
