Microsoft Lumia 650 now available in the US for $199

Microsoft’s new affordable Windows 10 Mobile handset, the Lumia 650 is now on sale in the US.

Consumers in the US can now get their hands on an unlocked Lumia 650 for $199 from the Microsoft Store. In a few other markets, the Lumia 650 has been on sale for a while now. It was announced back in February this year and is probably the last “Lumia” branded smartphone to be released this year.

The affordable Windows 10 Mobile handset packs a 5-inch 720 x 1280 HD resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage, 8MP primary camera, 5MP selfie camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2000mAh battery.

Reports suggest the Lumia 650 could also be sold by AT&T subsidiary Cricket Wireless later this month.
