Microsoft Announces Surface Laptop for Singapore

Microsoft announced that the Surface Laptop will be available in Singapore from 24 January. Preorders will start on 10th January at the Microsoft Store as well as authorised retailers, including Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, LOL by Epicentre, Harvey Norman and Newstead.

Surface Laptop will also be available for pre-orders for commercial customers via Authorized Device Resellers including AsiaPac Distribution Pte Ltd, JK Technology Pte Ltd, and UIC Asian Computer Services Pte Ltd.

The Surface Laptop runs on Windows 10 S which allows it to start up and run faster. Weighing at 1.25kg and less than 14.5mm thick, the laptop also touts up to 14.5 hours of battery life. It sports a 13.5-inch PixelSense Display optimized for touch and inking and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Available only in Platinum, the keyboard is covered in luxurious Alcantara material and promises a new level of typing comfort.

Prices for the Surface Laptop will start from S$1,488 for the Intel Core i5 version, with 128GB SSD, 4GB RAM and Intel HD Graphics 620.
