Meizu has made it official. The manufacturer will be unveiling its next flagship device, the Pro 6, at an event in Beijing on April 13.
If rumors are to be believed, the Pro 6 will be an impressive flagship phablet with top-notch hardware. The handset’s Super AMOLED display is said to measure 5.7-inches diagonally with 1440 x 2560 Quad HD resolution. Under the hood, Meizu Pro 6 could be powered by the Exynos 8890 SoC from Samsung, the exact same chipset that powers the international variants of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. As for RAM, rumors point to the smartphone being offered with either 4 or 6GB of RAM.
The rear camera on the Pro 6 will be a 21MP unit while the selfie snapper is going to be a 5MP unit. Like the rest of the rumored specs, the battery life is likely to be impressive as well, since the smartphone is tipped to include a 3,500mAh capacity battery inside.
