The mini Pro 5 will feature a metallic body similar to the Pro 5 flagship.
The Pro 5 mini was rumored last year to be in the works, and the device’s specs were revealed in a leak soon after Meizu unveiled the Pro 5. Today, the Pro 5 mini has appeared in the flesh in a leaked image, shown next to the regular Pro 5. The phone sports a metallic build similar to its bigger sibling, with a few changes in camera components placement.
The Pro 5 mini seems to feature a dual LED flash instead of a flash and laser autofocus arrangement, and the alignment of the LED flash is horizontal instead of vertical. According to rumors, the camera should remain a 20.7-megapixel sensor, and other specs are expected to include a 10-core MediaTek CPU, a 4.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, and 32GB/64GB internal storage.
The Pro 5 offers impressive specs for its price, and the mini variant is expected to bring a similar experience in a smaller form factor. More leaks should offer details on other hardware features in the near future, and we could see an official unveil during Mobile World Congress next week.
