Meizu’s upcoming entry-level smartphone the m2 showed up at TENAA recently. Along with the design, the specifications of the smartphone have also been confirmed now thanks to the TENAA listing.
As far as the design goes, the m2 appears to be similar to its predecessor in a number of ways. But as far as the dimensions go, the new model is likely to be slightly more compact with dimensions of 140.1 x 68.9 x 8.7mm.
The smartphone packs a 5.0-inch display with 720 x 1280 HD resolution and not a 4.6″ 1080p panel as rumored recently. It will be powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit MT6735 quad-core SoC and offer dual-SIM standby and 4G LTE connectivity. Other specs include 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, and a 2,700mAh battery.
Meizu m2 is expected to go official at the company’s event scheduled to be held on June 30th, with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
