Meet the new Alienware 18 (2015) gaming laptop with Maxwell SLI graphics

Alienware has finally launched the Alienware 18 (2015) model, its most powerful gaming notebook yet.

The latest gaming beast from Alienware features an 18.4” 1920 x 1080 Full HD display, a choice of 4th Gen Intel Haswell quad-core processors, up to two NVIDIA GTX 970M or GTX 980M Maxwell GPUs, up to 32GB dual channel DDR3L RAM, and an aluminum and magnesium chassis similar to its 17” sibling. It also shares the same RGB LED lighting as its siblings, allowing users to choose among various colors for the ten distinct lighting zones.

As you would expect, the Alienware 18 (2015) is definitely not a machine you would want to lug around. With its dimensions of 18” x 12” x 2.3” and 12 pound heft, the beast is strictly meant to be used as desktop replacement.

The Dell Alienware 18 (2015) is now available for purchase on the Dell website in the US for a starting price of $2,500. If you decide to go with the highest-end configuration, you will need to shell out $4,650.
