Microsoft has begun sending out invites for an upcoming event on October 6 to unveil new Windows 10 devices.
Recently @evleaks had suggested the Lumia 950 and 950 XL could go official on October 10, but it turns out the leakster wasn’t exactly right on the mark with the info.
The media briefing will be held at the Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York City on October 6 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The Microsoft press invite doesn’t give us any clue about the devices that could be unveiled, but we expect Microsoft to unveil a number of devices including the Lumia 950 and 950 XL smartphones, Surface Pro 4 tablet, Microsoft Band, and the Xbox One Mini console.
The Lumia 950 and 950 XL smartphones are rumored to pack Quad HD resolution displays, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable memory, 20MP PureView rear camera, USB Type-C port, and an Iris scanner.
