Most mice out there are only intended to be connected to just a single PC at a time. Logitech’s new MX mice however, have been designed with multi-device connectivity in mind. The flagship Logitech MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S can control up to three PCs at once, making them an ideal choice for prosumers who work across multiple computers.
Both the mice utilize Logitech’s new Flow software solution, which is available as a free download as part of Logitech Options software. Once users get the software installed, they will be able to use the MX mice to sync to up to three connected computers. It is also possible to copy and paste various types of content between the three PCs.
While these new mice aren’t the most ideal for gaming, they do boast a high-precision 4,000 DPI sensor. The Master 2S is the larger of the two mice, ideal for users with large hands. For others, the Anywhere 2S is probably the better choice, but it lacks the speed-adaptive scrolling feature present on the Master 2S. In terms of battery life, Logitech is claiming that the two mice can run up to 70 days on a single charge.
The Logitech MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S will begin shipping worldwide later this month. The MX Master 2S carries a suggested retail price of US $99.99, while the MX Anywhere 2S is priced at S$79.99.
