Logitech added a new gaming mouse to its lineup, dubbed the G203 Prodigy. Priced at $39.99 in the US, the G203 Prodigy offers great value and is among the most affordable gaming mice out there.
An update to the G102 mouse, the new G203 Prodigy features a classic design that has been inspired by the legendary Logitech G100S gaming mouse. Despite being very affordable, the G203 Prodigy does include programmable RGB lighting with a choice of up to 16.8 million colors and different brightness levels to suit your preference. The RGB illumination can be customized with the Logitech Gaming Software, which also includes over 300 game profiles and intelligent illumination that responds to your in-game actions.
The G203 Prodigy features an in-house 200-6,000 DPI optical sensor, paired with an ARM processor that supports up to 1000Hz report rate. With on-the-fly DPI shifting, users can switch between up to 5 sensitivity settings ranging from 200 DPI to 6000 DPI. As for customization options, the mouse comes with six programmable buttons, which can be configured using the Logitech Gaming Software. To save all your preferences, the mouse features onboard memory as well. That means you can use the mouse on any PC without having to install any software or re-configuring settings on the new PC.
In terms of dimensions, the new Logitech G203 Prodigy measures 116.6 x 62.15 x 38.2 mm (H x W x D) and weighs in at 85 grams. It will be going on sale in various markets starting this month, backed by a 2-year limited hardware warranty.
