LG’s New UltraGear Gaming Monitors Bring Top Specs To 21:9 Ultrawide Displays

Announced at IFA Berlin 2018, LG’s latest line of UltraGear gaming monitors combine LG’s popular 21:9 ultrawide form factor with an array of gaming-oriented enhancements.

With its additional screen real estate, LG’s iconic UltraWide 21:9 monitors have found traction amongst professionals and creatives alike. This productivity-enhancing form factor is combined with processing speed, picture quality and refresh rate enhancements to make the UltraGear the ideal monitor for a variety of entertainment and productivity applications.

The flagship, UltraGear model 34GK950G, is a 34-inch behemoth in UltraWide QHD (3440×1440) resolution. It also boasts the bells and whistles with Nano IPS display technology enabling a high level of colour accuracy. It recreates 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space, along with 135% of sRGB colour space.

The UltraGear 34GK950G also brings on board Nvidia G-Sync technology on board, ensuring greater smoothness in the visuals with minimal stuttering and tearing. It is also able to be overclocked to 120Hz for greater fluidity and smoothness of visuals.

The 2018 Red Dot Design Award and 2018 iF Design Award under its belt, the UltraGear 34GK950G combines top-notch specs in a cinematic form factor. Ultra-thin bezels further enhance immersion, and also make for an ideal multi-monitor set-up. RGB enthusiasts will not miss out on a spectacular light show with LG’s Sphere Lighting that has six colour settings for various uses.
