The LG Optimus G2 has been leaked once again, and has been confirmed to be coming to Korean carrier LG U+. Also, the report reveals previously unknown specifications of this beautiful handset, and things are looking very good for LG.
LG’s Optimus G2 is going to be a big one. A big phone in terms of size, a big phone in terms of scope for the Korean company. The Optimus G2 will be the first flagship phone to packa 5.2-inch phone, trumping all existing 5-inch flagships which have already released, or will be released in the near future. LG has managed to keep things compact by going for extremely thin bezel, as less as it gets for the sides. The phone will undoubtedly be thin, and yes, LG has indeed placed the volume rocker buttons beside the camera module. Whether that will come to be a major design flop or a be a successful new trend remains to be seen.
LG Optimus G2 leaked specifications:
- 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC
- 2 GB Of RAM
- 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD IPS Display
- 13 MP Rear Camera, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization)
- Dual-Speakers, Wireless Charging
- LTE Advanced Support
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
The yet-to-be-officially-announced flagship Smartphone (whose name might end up as something other than Optimus G2) will most definitely be announced at LG’s media event scheduled for August 7.
