After slashing prices of the leather back and Ceramic White variants of the G4 in the Indian market recently, the company has now come up with a metallic variant, priced at Rs.40,000 ($605). When it first launched the G4 in the Indian market, the smartphone was priced at Rs.51,000 ($771). The metallic G4 variant will be offered in two color options – Titanium Black and Gold.
The metallic variants also feature the same 3D Diamond pattern at the back, so the design is pretty much identical to the leather and ceramic variants. Same goes for the specs, there are no differences whatsoever under the hood. You still get the same 5.5-inch Quantum IPS display with Quad HD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core SoC, 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16MP rear camera with OIS, 8MP front-facing camera, 3,000mAh capacity battery, and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with LG’s ‘human-centric UX’ 4.0 skin on top.
