LG today added a new product to its monitor lineup with the launch of the 27MU67 4K 27-inch gaming monitor.
Like most other LG monitors, the 27MU67 features an IPS panel with 3840 x 2160 resolution. Despite using an IPS panel, LG claims an impressive grey-to-grey response time of just 4ms. Contrast is stated to be the usual 1000:1, along with 99% sRGB color gamut coverage and 10-bit color depth. The monitor has a refresh rate of 60Hz and supports AMD FreeSync.
Like most other gaming monitors, the 27MU67 includes a dedicated Game Mode settings that lets gamers create their perfect environment for gaming. There is a special Motion 240 Mode included as well, claimed to reduce response times down to 1ms, and a Black Stabiliser Mode that improves visibility in dark scenes. For multi-tasking, the monitor supports 4-screen split.
Connections on the monitor includes 2 HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, Mini DP, and an audio out.
The monitor has been listed for sale in Australia with a price-tag of USD $620. We expect it become available in other markets soon.
