The LG G5 is all set to go official at MWC on Sunday, and the Korean manufacturer has put up a teaser website for the device over in the US. The teaser page has a sign-up form up front and center to allow people to get the info on the G5’s launch, but the bottom of the website offers clues about some of the phone’s features.
Fast processing speed is mentioned, likely a hint towards the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC that is expected to power most of this year’s flagship devices. The Always On display functionality is also hinted at with the words “The G5 offers quick and easy access to all of your favorite apps and programs for when you need them most.” LG has already confirmed such a feature will be a part of the LG G5, and this is yet another confirmation ahead of the phone’s official unveiling.
With the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge to be unveiled on the same day as the G5, it should be an interesting day that sees the two Korean manufacturers batting it out on the Android flagship front. The G5’s magic slot is likely to get considerable attention, perhaps more so than the phone itself.
